Customer Review: A brief comment
I bought this tape to get the main song and arrangement from The Little Mermaid. I like Jamaican steel drum music, and this is one of the best songs done in this style that I've seen. If you add in the visuals, you get one of Disney's finest moments, in my humble opinion. The whole video has a sea or maritime theme, though, which is nice because it thematically ties everything together, and the songs range from 1930s to the 1980s, including Disney's reprisals of even older songs (such as "By the Beautiful Sea," which I suspect goes back to the 1890s or early 1900s). Overall a good video and Scrooge McDuck serves as the host. :-)
Customer Review: A lasting memory (from the childs mind)
A family member bought this vhs for me when I was little.I think before 1994. I am now 25 years old and the songs still this day will put a smile on my face. It took a while for me to get use to some of the older songs but once I got it I was dancing around the house and pretending I could sing all day to them. Im going to purchase it for my daughter now and hope that it brings as much joy to her as it did to me. It is a must have. It will keep the kids interested.

Enchanted Stables (Disney Princess)
If there's one thing little girls love even more than horses or princesses, it's horses AND princesses! Now this classic combination gets the deluxe Disney treatment, as Belle, Cinderella, and Snow White embark on all-new adventures with their noble and devoted horse friends. Join Belle in her efforts to cheer up the mysteriously melancholy Phillipe; marvel at Cinderella's decision to enter poor, clumsy Frou (the horse with four left feet) in a royal horse show; and gasp out loud at Snow White and Astor's daring rescue of the missing Prince! This beautifully illustrated storybook is chock-full of adventure, romance, and humor. Guaranteed to become an instant favorite with little girls and their parents.
Customer Review: Nice drawings, cute story
I really liked Belle's story. It had a proper story structure and wasn't silly or boring (like some of the other newer 'Princess' books). I also loved the artwork - very detailed. One amusing thought ....If Belle's now a Princess (after marrying the Beast/Prince), why is she still wearing her blue/white 'village girl' dress in the castle?! Especially when the Prince is decked out in his fancy blue/gold ballroom suit! :)
Customer Review: Pretty oufits, but pretty dull
The book isn't dull, but it's not that good, either. The stories are not very entertaining, even for kids I'd imagine. Snow White's and Cinderella's falls flat on their face in their morals, the artwork has several glitches if you look closely, and he new outfits look tacky and too similar.
