High School Musical was a smash hit, and High School Musical 2’s release in 2006 was the highest rated cable premier ever, with a soundtrack that has sold millions of albums. Now kids can get up close and personal with the HSM gang in Secret Crush, a cool journal book chock-full of facts, photos and information about their favorite movies and characters. But the coolest part is the secret messages from characters Troy, Gabriella, Chad and Sharpay; using the included revealer light pen, secret messages printed in the book are unveiled.

The pen can also be used by kids to write their own secret thoughts, record friends’ names, school activities, aspirations and more in Secret Journal, the second included journal book. This set couldn’t offer High School Musical fans more about their favorite characters, as well as a place and way to start their own journal writing.

This is only a music CD. This is not the game -- the description is misleading, as is the CD insert, which shows screen shots of the Disney DDR game itself. The price, too, indicates that this is a video game. It is not.

My almost 4 year old daughter listens to this all the time during rest time. I like it so much I have bought some for gifts and have looked into others in the series.
Customer Review: Great Gift Idea
I bought this book and 2 other books similar to it for my 4 yr old daughter. At first I would read it to her along with the CD using my finger as a guide for her to see. Now, she enjoys sitting alone and follow the stories herself. It's true that there is no chime to indicate "Next Page", but if you read along with the CD while your child listens and looks at the pictures, they will learn when to turn the page. I have bought many of these books as birthday gifts for her pre-school friends. These books have been a big hit. There are 3 different books (4 complete stories in each): One book has Cinderella/Little Mermaid/Beauty and the Beast/Snow White Stories; another has Aladdin/Toy Story/Lion King/Little Mermaid; and the third book has Dumbo/Lion King/101 Dalmations/Bambi. All are great but the Princess book has been the biggest hit. These books are wonderful and the price on Amazon.com is fantastic. Enjoy!
