My son loves these books (we have more than one title). I understand the frustration those who were expecting a turn-the-page signal (although no where on the book does it claim to have them), because I was also a little disappointed at the lack of this feature at first. However, if your child is very young (say, around 2 or 3), they will most likely enjoy looking at the pictures at their own pace anyway. I have found that my son doesn't follow the signals on other CDs that have them, and it just forces him to think more about keeping up with the chime than simply enjoying the story and using his imagination.

orderd disney animals cd story book and the book came with no cd and when I contacted them they said sorry no more books in stock but thay still have them on there site.
