Disney Animation Collection 1: Mickey & Beanstalk

Disney Animation Collection 1: Mickey & Beanstalk
Customer Review: Will we finally get the Sterling Holloway edit?
"Mickey and the Beanstalk" was originally the first half of the package feature "Fan & Fancy Free", in which the animated portion is repeatedly interrupted by the live-action narrator Edgar Bergen and his puppets. The repeated cut-aways and Bergen's over-the-top narration can be quite distracting (read: annoying). This version has been available on DVD twice already, in the "Fun & Fancy Free" feature, and in an excerpt from the same film on the Disney Treasures volume "Mickey Mouse in Color Volume 2". But there was an alternate edit of this cartoon that played on television, in which the live-action segments are removed entirely and Edgar Bergen and his puppets' narration is replaced by a new narration delivered by Sterling Holloway (most famously the voice of Pooh). This is the version I grew up with, and the version I prefer. To my knowledge, this version has never been available on DVD. Does anyone know if this DVD will feature the Sterling Holloway edit?
