Customer Review: Not as advertised
This product is not at all what they advertise it to be. It is not a video that teaches you the moves, it is an audio CD that talks "at" you and pictures in a book, not even of the movie actors. A total disappointment!! I bought this for my 10 year old niece for Christmas and we were both so disappointed. What kid wants to listen to a voice tell them to turn left, turn right and jump? I thought it was an instructional video.
Customer Review: Good for HSM fans and productions
I think that this kit is great for HSM fanatics and it would also be helpful for groups that are putting on an actual performance of HSM in their town or at their school. This book has a lot of great tips for hair and wardrobe (including accessories) as well as tips on dancing and how to do several of the dances from both HSM and HSM2.

Customer Review: Best Complete Guide yet!
I have the 2007, 2008, and now the 2009 version of this book. By far, the 2009 version is the best. At the very front it shows what is new at Disney and what has gone. I hear a lot about what comes to Disney, but not so much about what has gone or been re-done, so that was very useful in planning my honeymoon for this year. At the beginning of each park chapter there is an At-A-Glance part where they have gathered information everyone wants to know. The attractions part of the At-A-Glance section gives starred ratings of each of the attractions, how long the ride is, the average wait time, and a brief description. Next is where to find each of the characters in the park. Very useful for kids and those with obsessions for particular characters, like mine with Eeyore. Next is a section on the performers with a description and rating as well as where to find it. Next there are reviews for all of the restaurants in that park, hours of operation, and general pricing. Where to shop is next, and that is all there in the first few pages of a chapter for quick referencing. After the At-A-Glance section there is more in-depth information on park attractions including fun facts, review, and an hour-by-hour average wait time. This book helps so much when planning what you want to see, when you want to see it, and mapping out where to go in the park. It is more expensive than other guides, but it is well worth the money. I look forward to this book every year.
Customer Review: Terrific Disney Guide
I've been to Disney World many times but I never bought a guide book to it until now and I must say I was impressed. What a terrific guide to Disney World this is! My favorite parts of the beautiful, expressive pictures that bring Disney World to life and capture its magic. Based on my experience, I would recommend this to those who are taking their first trip to Disney World and to repeaters like me. Useful. Thoughtful. Sized just right to take with you on your trip.

Customer Review: Too much violence for young children
The Disney Read Aloud Audio Collections are wonderful. I have six of the collections and my children just love reading and listening to the CD's. They are the best! I teach high functioning boys with autism ages 6-11. Their reading skills have improved since they started listening to the CD's and following along in the books. However, I was shocked at how violent Pirates of the Carribean is for children in the 4-8 age group. I was not expecting that of Disney. I thought the boys would enjoy a adventure story. Don't buy the Pirates of the Carribean collection if you do not want to expose your children stabbing and killing. I opened up one of the books and immediately returned to seller.
Customer Review: What a great gift!!!
We, or should I say Santa, gave this set to our 5 year old pirate lover. He LOVES listening to the stories in bed after lights out. The narrator sounds like a scurvy old pirate himself- it's a must have for any pirate fan!
